Carlos de la Torre joined Evensky & Katz/Foldes Wealth Management in November 2025, bringing a broad background in financial accounting and tax compliance across industries, including health care, HVAC, and direct selling. Carlos helps businesses navigate complex financial landscapes while aligning strategies with their broader goals. 

Carlos earned his bachelor’s degree in accounting from Florida International University and a master’s degree in accounting information systems from Florida Atlantic University. He is a licensed CPA, and his expertise in accounting, tax compliance, and financial systems allows him to deliver comprehensive guidance while upholding the firm’s fiduciary standards. His experience across diverse industries provides a unique perspective that enriches his approach to wealth management and financial planning. 

A native of Cuba, Carlos brings both cultural insight and a global perspective to his work. Outside of the office, he enjoys outdoor activities, including tennis and running, reflecting his appreciation for balance and well-being.
