Alejandro Ruiz

Alejandro Ruiz is a Financial Advisor at Evensky & Katz / Foldes Wealth Management, where he brings a disciplined, goal-oriented approach to helping clients build and maintain long-term financial strength. Since joining the firm in 2021, Alejandro has worked with individuals and families to create structured, customized financial plans—providing guidance in investment management, retirement planning, and estate strategies. Much like a professional trainer helps clients stay on track with their physical goals, Alejandro serves as a financial coach: building strategies, keeping clients accountable, and helping them stick to a plan even when markets—or life—get unpredictable.

Alejandro earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in Economics from the University of Miami and began his career as a financial consultant at Equitable Advisors. There, he developed a deep appreciation for helping clients understand the why behind financial decisions—not just the numbers. His strength lies in simplifying complex strategies and supporting clients with the consistency and clarity needed to meet their goals. Whether he’s designing an investment plan or guiding a client through retirement transitions, Alejandro’s steady, thoughtful style reflects the firm’s fiduciary values and long-term perspective.

Born and raised in Miami, Alejandro is committed to giving back to the community that shaped him. He is actively involved with Legal Services of Greater Miami and supports initiatives at Belen Jesuit. He has also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and served as a local ambassador for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. Outside the office, he stays energized through fishing, sports, and regular exercise—bringing the same personal discipline he encourages in his clients. Looking ahead, Alejandro is focused on growing his impact as a financial advisor by continuing to help clients build resilience and confidence through life’s many financial milestones. His work is grounded in the firm’s core values: People, Community, Stewardship, Fiduciary, Trust, and Accountability.
