Aldo Castaneda
Aldo Castaneda began his career with Evensky & Katz/ Foldes Wealth Management in June 2015. As a member of our financial planning team, Aldo works in conjunction with wealth managers to create effective and individualized wealth management strategies for our clients.
Aldo graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Mexico and also holds two Master of Science degrees from Texas Tech University: one in personal financial planning with a concentration in charitable giving, and the other in business administration with a concentration in finance.
Additionally, Aldo has achieved several designations in the financial industry such as The Certified Financial Planner™; the Chartered Financial Analyst CFA®; and the Chartered Life Underwriter CLU® designation.
Prior to joining our firm, Aldo held several internships in Mexico and the U.S. in the investment arena, working specifically in investment research and equity selection for investment portfolios.
Aldo was born and raised in Chihuahua, Mexico. He is a former collegiate track and field athlete, a high school state champion in the 1500m, 5000m, and 10000m runs, and an all-around sports junkie. In his spare time Aldo enjoys sports, outdoor activities, traveling and volunteering.
