Danqin Fang

Danqin joined the Evensky & Katz / Foldes Financial (EKFF) team in April 2013 as a financial planning analyst and was promoted to financial advisor in 2016. She is primarily responsible for client services, comprehensive financial planning, and investment research for her clients. She also serves as a board member of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of Miami and leads the NexGen community.


In May 2013, Danqin graduated from Texas Tech University with a Master of Science in personal financial planning. In July 2010, she earned her bachelor’s degree in financial management with a concentration in accounting from Shanghai University, Shanghai, China.


Danqin is a Certified Financial Planner™ holding fiduciary standards for her clients. She is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), having successfully passed all three exams on her first attempts. CFA is the world-renowned investment certification program known for its highest ethical standards, extensive education, and rigorous exams in the investment research and portfolio management profession. Outside of work, Danqin enjoys traveling, reading, paddle boarding, and practicing yoga. In September 2015, at the FPA National Conference in Boston, Massachusetts, Danqin was honored as one of the two recipients of the 2015 Diversity Scholar award, in recognition of her involvement in promoting diversity and inclusion in the financial planning profession.


Prior to joining EKFF, Danqin worked as a teaching assistant of the graduate-level wealth management class lectured by Harold Evensky and John Salter at Texas Tech University. She had also interned within several well-established RIA firms in the financial planning industry nationwide. Additionally, Danqin volunteered as a financial coach for the Red to Black® program and as a certified Volunteer of IRS Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program helping students and low-income taxpayers while residing in Lubbock, Texas.
