David Evensky is a principal at Evensky & Katz/ Foldes. He joined the firm in August 2001. He sits on the firm’s board of managers and serves as the chief marketing officer. His responsibilities at EKF include business development, information technology, community outreach, and client liaison. He is a graduate of the University of Maryland College Park.

Mr. Evensky currently sits as chairman of the Friendship Circle of Miami. He is also on the boards of the Coral Gables Museum and American Jewish Committee and is a member of the Society of Mount Sinai Medical Center. He is a member of the Coral Gables Community Foundation.

Mr. Evensky received the Key to the City of Miami Beach for his philanthropic efforts in 2004. He also received the Key to Miami-Dade County in February 2009 for his involvement as founder of the Motivated Youth Program. He has been featured in the Miami Herald Philanthropy section and has been featured in Miami Today as an “Achiever” in Miami.
